Ooty: The three-day annual dog show, an annual summer feature here organised by the South India Kennel Club (SIKC), got underway at the Government arts college grounds here on Friday morning with an obedience trial and specialty show for golden retrievers on the inaugural day.

Ms. Nagina, honorary secretary of the SIKC said that  as usual, obedience trials for breeds such as the German Shepherd, Doberman, Labrador, dachs hound  and a specialty show for golden retrievers were held on the  inaugural day.  She said that nearly 360 dogs belonging to over 52 different breeds from across the country would turn up for the show in the next two days.
